Boston Nutritionist | Healing By The Forkful

If you're searching for a Boston nutritionist and dietitian who looks past a list of foods to avoid and gets to what's actually driving your symptoms, I'd love to help. I'm Royletta Romain, MEd, RD, LDN, CLT, a registered dietitian licensed throughout Massachusetts, and I work with Boston clients as a dietitian in Boston through virtual nutrition counseling and in-person appointments at my Hanover office, a short drive from downtown. Whether you're dealing with menopause symptoms, chronic inflammation, or digestive issues that have gone unresolved for years, my approach as a Boston nutritionist starts with figuring out what's actually happening in your body, not handing you a generic meal plan.

How It Works

Boston clients can choose the format that fits their schedule, meeting with me virtually or making the short trip to my Hanover office. I offer two ways to work together. Many clients start with Medical Nutrition Therapy sessions, which several insurance plans cover, where we build a plan around your health history, goals, and whatever you're managing, whether that's diabetes, weight, or a GLP medication. For clients whose symptoms point to inflammation, such as migraines, joint pain, or persistent gut issues, I also offer a Personalized Anti-Inflammation Blueprint, which adds a symptom survey and an MRT blood draw to identify your specific food triggers. We'll talk through which path makes sense for you at your first visit, in person or by video.

Specialties

  • Menopause: I help you manage hot flashes, weight changes, and brain fog, and when it's useful, we look at which foods may be fueling the hormonal inflammation behind them.

  • Gut Health: From bloating to IBS, I work with you on nutrition strategies, and food sensitivity testing when appropriate, to calm digestive symptoms and restore balance.

  • Inflammation: This is where the Anti-Inflammation Blueprint shines. I help you pinpoint the specific foods tied to joint pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, and chronic inflammation.

  • Weight Loss: I build sustainable weight management plans around your goals and your body's own patterns, not restrictive dieting.

  • GLPs: If you're on a GLP-1 medication, I help you protect muscle mass and manage side effects through nutrition.

  • Type 2 Diabetes: I offer practical, food-first strategies that support blood sugar stability alongside your medical care.
